Karen Palumbo is the director of graduate programs for the Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership. Dr. Palumbo has extensive experience in Internet startups since 1997 and has been involved in ground-level development and strategic deployment. Her career has included 20 years of experience in the software engineering industry, serving in leadership and management roles, sales, marketing and total quality management, as well as experience in the nonprofit sector.

Teaching Statement

“I believe that students can learn most effectively when they are actively engaged in the classroom and enjoying the educational experience. Open-ended discussions, creative presentations and interactive group projects add to students’ ability to master new concepts and put theory into practice. Real-life experience is added to textbook study to provide a more complete understanding of the business world.”
